This book is excellent. I would highly recommed you get it. It is the first out of three. A normal family of four rent a summer house. But their two children have realised they are not alone. The children tell their parents but claim they have a wild imagenation. What is the secret to the old house in cherry street? Well, The children are about to find out.

The book House On Cherry Street was about Jason his sister Sally and his baby-sitter Katie, It also had an evil which and a ghost named Bobby. It all started happining when Jasons parents went on a buisness trip and katie came to watch them and this ghost Bobby was trying to scare away katie cause it didn't like baby sitters but katie wouldn't beleive any thing that Jason said but things kept on happning and finally she saw it and believed it then the whitch was tyring to get them but sjhe didn't and they got bobby were he belonged.

I didn't like it at all. I read part 1 of this book and it was good. This book didn't even close to as good as the other one. The author kept describing one thing and that wasn't bad. The only thing that was wrong, is that it ended the complete opposite of what I thought. I didn't like the ending either. At the end of every chapter, it had a good cliffhanger. When you read the next chapter, it didn't have much to do with the cliffhanger or it ended up not being good. The book kept you in suspence most of the time, but it wnt away too fast. You could guess who was making all of the trouble by just reading the first couple chapters. All of the main characters in th book were really cool and they stayed in my mind really well. Overall, I thought that this book wasn't that good, but I liked it a little. It would have been better if the story was mre suspenceful and the cliffhangers would end in a different way. One of the lessons I learned in this novel is never underestimate people no matter who they are. They could do anything at anytime. If you are thinking of reading this book, I wouldn't recommend it. I would grade this book a 2 on a scale from 1-10. .

I first read this book when I was in the third grade and the way the authors described in detail the adventures of Jason (the main character in the book) in the creepy house that he had just moved into with his family nearly made me throw the book in the freezer out of fear. This is definitly a book that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat and their eyes on the page.

I think this book was one of the most mysterious books that I have ever read. It was about a boy who moved to a grand old house on cherry street. It was a great place to raise children. Even ones from the dead!

If your a teen who is sick of those stupid childish "scary" books, then this is the book for you!!! Nonstop horror from begining to end leaves you with a non stop thriller from begining to end!!! STRAIGHT FROM THE 14 YEAR OLDS POINT 'O' VIEW!!

i like this book because it is acary anmd suspense because it keeps you waiting to tell you whats happening and what the story is really about. i like the part when the kids Nick and Jessie get tired of waiting to see what is in the basement so they go down there and see a big tunnell that leads to Harley hill the biggest hill in the forest so i dont want to tell you the whole story but i will tell you that it wiil get you scared and thinking can this really happen.

I realy enjoyed this book.It met the standards of any great sci-fi book and then some.It has energy and heart-stopping exitment.It is like Animorphs meets ID4.This is going to be the big series of the summer

This bio of Varina Davis begins with her teen years and ends with her successful struggle to get her husband released from prison after the Civil War. Written in a simple style that can be understood by high school students, it has details that would interest Civil War buffs.

Although the author is sympathetic to the South and portrays Jeff and Varina as kind to their slaves, he shows the basic cruelty of slavery and has Varina develop doubts about its justness. The account is fictionalized but based on the writings of Mrs. Davis and others.

Varina Davis was an intelligent woman who shows courage and determination in meeting the trials that befell her family. This is an interesting book, a little dated, but still exciting.

I was very pleased with your book:The werewolf chronicles(book 1), I read it in one day! I found it funny at parts, sad, joyus and it was funny when the boy was caught and he was taken in by the people and he told them his name was "gruff" I found that hilarious, was scary when the werewolves were searching for gruff. I loved the fact of gruff and the wolves being close like family even though they are totally different species. Yes, the book was marvelous I strongly recommend it! I cant wait to read the other two to the trilogy.

I love this book! It is historical, but fun. I have become very fascinated with the lives of Mary Anna Morrison Jackson and Thomas J. Jackson and this book put it in story form while filled with lots of facts. I think that this is also a good novel for anyone--even if not interested in Jackson or the civil war.

As a transplant to Harnett County 10 years ago, I thought I knew alot about this local area. WOW, this book opened my eyes to the many hidden historical treasures that our humble land holds. A must read for locals, visitors and anyone interested in southern heritage!

There is a witch, not the kind you see on t.v. one that is after something.

Ireally liked the book because I got goose bumps.I was still scared when there are even other kids in the room. It was dark and the Author did a good job she made the book be real. Jason is 12 years old in the book . He is very brave to go down in the basement. If I went down there I would freaked out. Sally is 4 years old she's Jason's sister.She has an imagenary friend name Bobby.Sally is sometimes annoying. One of the characters to watch for isTHE WITCH! She is so mean . She lives in the basement.The witch needs a bath and to brush her teeth.

If you like Goosebump books your going to love this book. It was really scary. I think the charitors were really brave. If Iwas in Jason' sittuation I proboly be dead by now, or I would've left the house the 1st day. The setting was great on a hill by a lot of trees. It was kind of spooky.The house looked haunted on the cover. I can see why Jason was scared.I liked the battles that Bobby and the witch had. I never wanted to put the book down.
